State govt has declared may 7th 2024 as a public holiday on account of the lok sabha elections which will be held in the state on that day. As per the notification, the punjab government employees will observe 3 to 4 holidays.
The punjab government released the list announcing gazetted and restricted holidays for 2024. The rules applicable in the restricted holidays will also be applicable for these half day.
